Which routers work with MikroPay?
Any MikroTik running RouterOS 7.13 or newer, a free upgrade on most MikroTik hardware. You keep the router you already own. Our free Setup Helper finds it on your WiFi and configures it for you in minutes.
How do my customers pay?
They scan the QR card on your table and pay with Wave. No voucher to type.
When do I get my money?
The money is credited to your MikroPay balance the moment a customer pays, and every sale shows on your dashboard as it happens. Withdraw to your mobile money wallet whenever you like, once your balance reaches D100. We take nothing from the withdrawal itself.
How is MikroPay different from other hotspot tools?
Most hotspot tools take a share of every sale, or bill you for a server you have to keep running. MikroPay does neither. You pay a flat monthly plan and keep 100% of what you sell, and there is nothing to install at the venue beyond your own router.
I already sell WiFi through a shopkeeper. Do I have to stop?
No. You will not need the middleman anymore. The QR card on your table sells WiFi by itself: customers pay with mobile money and the money is credited straight away, with no commission to hand over and no cash to collect. You withdraw it to your mobile money wallet whenever you like. If you still want counter sales, you can print WiFi tickets from your dashboard and sell them wherever you like.
I use Mikhmon already. Can I move across?
Yes. Connect the same router and MikroPay brings across its packages, unused printed tickets, and the sales history Mikhmon recorded. Existing tickets keep working, previous sales stay separate from new MikroPay earnings, and old prices are offered as suggestions for you to approve. Nothing is repriced or put on sale without you.
Do I need to be technical?
No. The free Setup Helper auto-detects your router and does the technical part itself. You just pick your router and enter its password. Support is one chat message away if you get stuck.
